In this model, Dr. Yaffe has considerably fewer patients than typical primary care doctors. This allows him to have enough time to provide each and every patient with personalized, unhurried care. Members of Yaffe CCPHP pay an affordable annual fee to take advantage of a wide array of member benefits and enjoy a more convenient, connected, and compassionate approach to healthcare.

Membership fees are payable to Yaffe CCPHP, LLC, a business entity formed by Dr. Yaffe and CCPHP that is separate from his medical practice. Dr. Yaffe provides all professional services through his practice, Yaffe Ruden & Associates, LLP. Since the membership fees do not pay for any insurance-covered healthcare services, we recommend that our members maintain their health insurance. Contact us for more information.

Practice Philosophy

In recent years, there has been an increasing disconnect between personalized, committed care delivery and the economics of healthcare. It used to be that the fee-for-service reimbursement model covered the actual costs of care. Sadly, this is no longer true. The time constraints imposed on physicians – particularly primary care providers – have also become very challenging. Nationally, the “typical” primary care visit is now only about 11 minutes, which is simply not enough time to deliver the level of care that I believe patients deserve. Our innovative, membership-based approach is an ideal solution in this changing healthcare climate – for both patients and physicians.

I formed Yaffe CCPHP with Castle Connolly Physician Health Partners, LLC (CCPHP), as a management company separate from my practice, to offer membership benefits and enable me to spend more time with my patients in my practice. CCPHP was developed by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. (CCML) to connect patients with top physicians to offer patients the very best healthcare experience. You may recognize the name Castle Connolly if you are familiar with New York Magazine’s annual “Top Doctors” issue, in which I have been fortunate to have been selected on numerous occasions. CCML is a highly regarded research organization, based here in Manhattan, with a national presence for selecting America’s leading physicians for inclusion in their network of the very best.
